For this year’s International Women’s Day, to promote equality, inclusion and diversity towards a world free of bias, stereotypes and discrimination, Brivia Group and its employees engaged themselves in a corporate initiative by donating essential goods and providing volunteering services to women experiencing homelessness at the Old Brewery Mission’s Patricia Mackenzie Women’s Pavilion.
Withholds a strong sense of community in its corporate culture and value, Brivia Group is committed to support social and philanthropic causes that improve the well-being of the community in which it operates. The company also encourages volunteering and participates in charitable events to support various communities through socially impactful initiatives.
Collaborating with the Old Brewery Mission, an organization that works with homeless population in Montreal to find practical and sustainable solutions to chronic homelessness, is a unifying way to multiply our efforts to give back to the community with our services and support the essential needs of the most vulnerable populations.
During this volunteering session, representatives from Brivia Group took part in preparing and distributing meals to the residents of Old Brewery Mission and other related tasks, but most of all, the team was able to exchange and connect with the women residing at the pavilion in a warm and convivial atmosphere.
