On May 27th, 2018, Mr. Kheng Ly, president and CEO of Brivia Group, attended the 7th Jiuding Scholarship Gala and presented the awards to winning students. Mrs. Zhichun Bian, Vice Consul General of China in Montreal, Mr. Guy Saint-Jacques, former Canadian Ambassador to China, Mrs. Pauline Marois, former Quebec Premier, Dr. Gaétan Barrette, Ministry of Health and Social Service (Quebec), Mrs. Alexandra Mendes, Member of Parliament of Brossard-Saint-Lambert, and many community leaders attended the gala and witnessed the award ceremony. YUL Condominiums, Brivia Group’s flagship project, is pleased to support Jiuding Club and Jiuding Scholarship once more.
This year, seven students were awarded with the Jiuding Scholarship, which recognizes outstanding students of Chinese descent who excel in both academics and extracurriculums. Established in 2011, this bursary represents the encouragement and expectations of the Chinese community for the younger generations. The winning students earned their awards with diligence, hard work, and dedication. This scholarship will encourage and motivate these young students to in turn give back to their community.
