The company is planning a major real estate project based on sustainable development
Montréal, September 13, 2021 – Brivia Group is proud to announce the acquisition of the LaSalle Carnival Centre, located at the corner of Newman Boulevard and Léger Street in the borough of LaSalle, Montreal. Acquired from RioCan and Harden Group, this 60,000 square meter piece of land will allow Brivia Group to develop a mixed-use real estate project around public transits and focus on sustainable development.
“This strategic acquisition aims to develop into a TOD project, a real estate development structured around a major transit hub,” said Kheng Ly, President, Founder and CEO of Brivia Group. “We want to create a new mixed-use, intergenerational and human-scaled urban environment employing sustainable development practices, as well as offering a wide range of housing types adapted to different market segments.”
The project is part of the revitalization of West Angrignon District initiated a few years ago and contributes to the implementation of the vision of Newman Boulevard developed by the borough of LaSalle. It is a major opportunity to create a structuring development project designed to revitalize this site and ensure its sustainability.
“I would like to congratulate and thank our team of professionals who worked to complete this transaction, as well as our key partners including BMO and IPSO FACTO Real Estate Fund,” said Mr. Ly.
